The foreigner (Release date: October 13, 2017) is a martial art action thriller movie, this movie was directed by Martin Campbell, and written by David Marconi. This movie was based on the 1992 Stephen Leather’s novel The Chinaman. This movie stars Jackie Chan, Orla Brady, Michael McElhatton, Charlie Murphy, Kate Leung, Liu Tao, and Pierce Brosnan.
In this movie Ngoc Minh Quan (Jackie Chan), a retired Vietnam war special operations forces soldier, now he is running a Chinese family restaurant in London with his partner Lam. But one day his daughter Fan is murdered in a terrorist attack, then Quan (Jackie Chan) seek revenge. And purchases to make handmade weapons and travels to Belfast. Meet with Hennessy and fight with him in outside and attacking with more incendiary device. Hennessy’s assistant attempt to follow him, then Quan escape form Vietnam. After that Hennessy also explore Quan’s background and find he was a former guerrilla fighter who was enrol by the CIA in Vietnam.
Hugh McGrath, one of Hennessy’s old IRA commanders during The Troubles, appear and asks Hennessy why his weapon dumps are being explore. After some time, a second bombing happen on a double- decker bus and no codeword is given, prod distrust between Bromley and Hennessy. After that British cabinet minister Katherine Davies tells Hennessy that Royal pardons for several of his IRA ex-comrades will be think about only if he instantly hands over the bombers.
In other side affair was arrange a plan to tie Liam to the bombers in case he chose to fight with government. Hennessy also trap down real organizer of the attack is own wife, Mary. And Sean finds Quan’s safe house in forest. Then after a long blade fight, Quan seize Sean.
As the police squads and M15 draw up to raid the bombers’ London hiding place, Quan enters and kills everyone excluding Maggie and leaves the sport. Then police squad enter in apartment, and they capture Maggie and force to reveal location of next bomb which has been planted in a laptop at Rome. With only seconds to spare, British police throw the laptop into an empty jet bridge.
In climax of this movie Quan (Jackie Chan) returns to his restaurant and re-join with Lam. Scotland Yard understand Quan’s role in the events and has him put under spying then Bromley resolve not to take any action in case of Quan and Keeps him for reporting only.
