The Last samurai is one of the stronger historical adventure movies of all time.

Regarding the Movie:

In 1870s Tom Cruise stars in extensive grand set in Japan as a captain Nathan Algren, a respected American military officer hired by the Emperor of Japan to train the Japanese fist army in art of modern warfare. As the imperator attempts to destroy the ancient imperial samurai warriors in preparation for more Westernized and trade friendly government policies, Nathan Algren find himself surprisingly impressed and influenced by his encounters with the Japanese warriors and placing him at the center of a struggle between two eras, with only his own sense of honour to guide him as the last Samurai of Japan.

Nathan Algren is informed that the samurai are attacking of Omura’s railroads. And the Omura’s sends the army there, Nathan Algren tries to protest that, but they are not ready to stop. The battle is a catastrophe. Nathan Algren fight to the last before he is surrounded and expecting to die.  He is taken prisoner when samurai lord Katsumoto decides to spare him.

Nathan Algren is taken to Katsumoto’s village to live between his family. Algren is eventually gaining the samurai’s respect and becomes friends with Katsumoto. Nathan Algren gets the better of his alcoholism and guilt and learns the Japanese language and culture.

One night, a group of ninjas infiltrate the village and attempt to murder Katsumoto. Nathan Algren saves Katsumoto’s life and then helps defend the village. After that Katsumoto request a meeting with Emperor Meiji and is given safe passage to Tokyo, and he release Nathan Algren to arriving in Tokyo. In this time Nathan Algren was finds the imperial army is now a well-trained and fully equipped fighting force. After that Omura sends assassins to kill Nathan Algren, but Algren kills them. Nathan Algren assists the samurai in freeing Katsumoto, in the process, Katsumoto’s son Nobutada is deid sacrificing himself to allow other to escape.

In the last fight scene, the samurai use the imperial army’s overconfidence to attract them into a trap and dispossess them of military support. The consequent of battle inflicts casualties on both armies and forces the imperial soldiers to retreat. In other side Katsumoto orders a suicidal cavalry charge on horseback.

During the charge Nathan Algren killed Colonel Bagley but the whole samurai are down by gatling guns. Then Algren’s had returnd to the Katsumoto village and reunite with taka.

The Last samurai is a powerful interesting and inspiring film of all time…
